Note: This Policy only applies to accounts without a VoIP Unlock Key.
Please familiarize yourself with our dormant account policy, so that you can protect your account from your World Calling Credits expiring and account termination.
You will receive emails from us prior to World Calling Credit expiry or account termination. Please ensure that emails from noreply@fongo.com are not appearing in your junk filter.
What is considered a "dormant account"?
Within 60 days, there has been no:
- outgoing calls
- purchase of World Calling Credits
What happens if my account is dormant?
If you have a World Calling Credit balance:
- On the 68th day of inactivity, World Calling Credits will expire at a rate of $1.25 every 30 days until your World Calling Credit balance reaches zero
If you have no remaining World Calling Credits:
- When your account reaches 120 days of inactivity, your account is subject to automatic deletion, unless your:
- FreePhoneLine number was originally transferred (ported) in from another carrier. This extends the automatic deletion date from 120 days of inactivity to 5 years (1827 days). These numbers are then returned to the original carrier.
How do I prevent my account from being deleted?
- Maintain a World Calling Credit Balance
- i.e. $20 of World Calling Credits would delay the deletion of your account for 16 months.
- Purchase a VoIP Unlock Key
- Make a call with the FreePhoneLine desktop app
Additional Information
- Using FreePhoneLine primarily as a call forwarding service will not keep your account from being flagged as dormant.
- If you have no one to call, we do offer a test number 226-244-4444 that is an echo test, using this will keep your account active.
- Incoming calls do not count towards being considered "active"
